Who We Are
Eli's Ark was founded and is ran by Melanie. She had been in the ferret rescue world for __ years, across multiple state, before starting her own in 20___. Her connections, contacts, mentors, and passion has been her driving point to where she is today. Melanie believes every ferret, young or old, friendly or a bit more stand-offish, healthy or more fragile, EVERY ferret deserves to be loved and protected until the day they gain their wings.
What We Do
Our mission is to give every ferret, regardless of their past, a bright future.
Most of our residents are owner surrender, stray, or transfers from animal shelters.
We rehabilitate, socialize, and rehab ferrets so they can be adopted by their forever family.
In the case that ferrets are in their elder age, we tend to medical needs, and provide them a soft landing space to call home for their final days earthside.
