I just recently adopted a trio from Melanie and can attest to how easy and pleasant the experience was. There were complications with contacting my apartment complex as well as health issues with one of the babies, but Melanie communicated with me the whole time and we were able to go through with the adoption process despite all the bumps. Even though I am located in a different state, communication with someone who could bring them to a meeting location for me to pick up was smooth and I felt fully confident throughout the whole process. My babies have been a wonderful addition to my home and I can't thank Melanie enough for making it happen for me!

I've adopted two ferrets from this rescue and they are amazing! It wasn't difficult to adopt and Melanie gave a lot of information, answered all of my questions and even helped pick out food and a cage. She also sent toys and bedding which was really nice. Both of my boys were fully vetted before adopting and I really appreciate that. She stays in contact if needed and will help any way she can.

I am one of Melanie’s adopters! We adopted our boy Oliver from her back in February.
I was still fairly new to owning ferrets when I reached out to Melanie, like 6 months in to owning our first pair lol.
However, the adoption process was so easy and truly educational! It seems overwhelming at first, but I promise it’s not and goes very quickly. We were able to come meet Oliver to make sure he was a good fit for us as well.
She was even there for us with our late Linda Nibbles, and helped me get in contact with a great vet since she was diagnosed with lymphoma in the neck. When we had to put her down Melanie was right there in the phone with us.
When you adopt from her you are not only helping a ferret gain a home of their own, but you’ll get a forever ferret friend that’s there day or night to answer any questions you may have.
